Writing on the Wall

A mixed media installation was an hommage to Mugur Călinescu, a 16-years old high school student from Romania who decided to protest against the communist regime by writing words with chalk on walls.

What price are we willing to pay for the opportunity to express our own opinion? And what messages do we find written on the walls today? Today it is often difficult to imagine that even simply writing words on a wall can be an act of great heroism in a certain situation.
